Looking for a birthday celebration that’s a little different? The Wild Birthday is perfect for families, animal lovers, and kids who would rather spend their special day exploring the sanctuary than having a traditional party.
Your 2½-hour private birthday experienceincludes your setup and cleanup time, along with a guided adventure around Hope & Joy Sanctuary.
A member of our sanctuary team will guide your group around the property, introducing you to the animals who call Hope & Joy home. You’ll hear their stories, learn about their personalities, ask questions, and have opportunities to feed select animals along the way.
🌾 Step Into the Barnyard
Your group will get to enter our barnyard pasture and spend time meeting some of our farm residents, including cows, goats, our camel, and other barnyard friends.
🥕 Feed the Animals
Your party includes 6 feed buckets to use during guided feeding opportunities with your tour guide.
📸 Take All the Photos!
There are plenty of opportunities throughout your visit to stop, take pictures, and capture memories with your family, friends, and the animals.
🎂 Time to Celebrate
Your party will have access to our small indoor celebration area where you can enjoy your food, cake, presents, and time together.

Because this is an animal sanctuary, we keep party decorations simple. Many traditional party decorations are not permitted because balloons, confetti, streamers, small plastic pieces, and other materials can become dangerous if they enter an animal habitat or are accidentally ingested. Our animals’ safety always comes first. 🤎
All animal interactions and feeding opportunities are guided by our sanctuary team and are subject to animal comfort, health, weather, and availability.

Take your Wild Birthday to the next level with an unforgettable animal experience! 🐾
The VIP Wild Birthday includes everything in our Wild Birthday package, plus exclusive animal experiences that give your party an opportunity to get even closer to some of the incredible animals at Hope & Joy Sanctuary.
Your private celebration is approximately 3½ hours and accommodates up to 15 guests total — the birthday guest, 2 adults, plus up to 12 additional guests.

There’s one more special VIP experience!
When your group gathers inside for the celebration portion of your party, your tour guide will bring in one of our special animal ambassadors for your group to meet.
The visiting ambassador may be a Southern Tamandua, Northern Greater Galago, Fennec Fox, or another available ambassador animal.
The exact ambassador is selected by our sanctuary team and may vary based on the individual animal’s comfort, health, and availability.

Because we are an animal sanctuary, decorations are kept simple. Balloons, confetti, streamers, and other decorations that could pose a risk to our animals are not permitted.
All animal experiences are guided by our sanctuary team and are subject to animal comfort, health, weather, and availability. Animal experiences included in the package cannot be changed, substituted, or expanded with additional animal encounters.
